You can say with confidence that the change in behavior is due to your intervention by reliably producing the same results over and over and ruling out any other causes/variables that might be influencing the behavior. Effective is when the intervention is making a meaningful impact in that person’s life- there is a socially significant change and the intervention we used is working!
