It can feel like you'll never be able to hold yourself up when you first start to pole. Particularly if you struggle more than others in your class, but you don't need to worry. With the right exercises, at the right level, with some time and consistency you WILL get stronger. The key with these exercises is that we are trying to slowly increase how much weight is being held by the arms and are working on stabilising our body. We don't want to be using momentum, jumping or collapsing in to positions. We will start with always having at least one foot in contact with the ground but in time you'll start to use your legs less and less until your arms are holding you more and you can start to remove the feet from the floor. If you struggle with holding your body weight Practical Pole has: - A 6 week beginner course to set you up for success - Regular strength training classes - Over 50 "grounded" tutorials where your feet don't have to leave the ground! Giving you plenty to do until you get strong enough to hold yourself. And it's affordable 🎉 much cheaper than a monthly studio membership for unlimited access to over 600 tutorials and classes. #pdbeginners #beginnerspole #learntopoledance #homepoler
