Windows logs every failed login attempt on your machine. It has never once told you about them. 🔓 Admin PowerShell, failed attempts:Get-WinEvent -FilterHashtable @{LogName='Security'; Id=4625} -MaxEvents 20 | Select-Object TimeCreated Successful logins, same command with 4624. Honest reading, because this deserves it: ①Empty is good. No failed logins means no failed logins, not a broken command. ② Not every failure is a person. Your own typo, a stale mapped network drive, or a scheduled task running an old password all show up here. ③ What matters is a pattern: repeated failures at a time you were not using the machine, followed by a success. If you find that: change your password from a different device, turn on BitLocker so the drive is worthless without the key, and check this log weekly. The point is not that you are being hacked. The point is that your machine has been keeping this record the entire time and never surfaced it. There are 40 more like it 👻 link in bio. Fan-made parody.
