Yesterday's leftover toast is literally tomorrow's breakfast egg. I am not joking. 🤯 @hyattregencysydney takes 95% of their kitchen food scraps and feeds them to black soldier fly larvae in their loading dock. Those larvae produce fertiliser that goes to a vineyard. That vineyard makes a wine served back at the hotel. And the larvae themselves feed the chickens whose eggs land on the breakfast buffet. A fully closed loop. In a hotel. In the middle of Sydney. This is the kind of sustainability that actually makes sense not greenwashing, not offsets, not a recycling bin with a leaf on it.
