The absolute patience of people in Norway still blows my mind! 🇳🇴❤️ As an American living in Norway, I’m still adjusting to the differences in public etiquette and Norwegian culture. Today, I was completely oblivious and walking right down the middle of a bike path. Back home in America, if a bicycle rider comes up behind you, you’re definitely getting a loud shout or a frantic bell ring. 🔴🇺🇸 but here? Or Norwegian cyclist just quietly steered around me without hesitation, giving me plenty of space, and didn’t say a single word. No anger, no passive-aggressive sighing. The level of patience and mutual respect people give each other in public spaces. Here is on another level!
