#EVASTRATT & #RYLANDGRACE: are we still friends? There’s just something about Sandra Hüller saying had they met under different circumstances, Eva and Ryland could’ve been friends and the karaoke scene being added to say “hey I do value connection with people but I have to abandon that right now, so I’ll sing this song instead” and Eva’s subtle expressions when she realizes she has to send Ryland to space unwillingly… OUGH Eva and Ryland tragic friends of all time ever. They could never make me hate you, Eva Stratt!!!! And there’s also something about the clips I used with Ryland at her right side that made me think it was likely intentional and was done as a nod to the right hand man plot in the book…right right I’m for sure normal about it.
