🚨 ON YOUR FEET FOR 8–12 HOURS A DAY? YOUR BODY NEEDS RECOVERY, NOT MORE PUNISHMENT. If you’re a nurse, teacher, barber, hairstylist, warehouse worker, server, or anyone who spends long shifts standing, this is for YOU! 👇🏾 Standing for extended periods can leave your feet aching, calves fatigued, ankles stiff, hips uncomfortable, and lower back feeling exhausted. And while standing burns more energy than sitting, standing all day doesn’t replace intentional movement and recovery. Here are a couple of extra exercises as well!!! 1️⃣ Legs up the wall — Give your tired legs a break and encourage fluid return. 2️⃣ Calf stretches — Restore comfortable range of motion in those hardworking lower legs. 3️⃣ Ankle circles — Activate your lower-leg muscles and get your ankles moving. 4️⃣ Figure-four stretch — Ease feelings of tightness around your glutes and hips. 5️⃣ Hip flexor stretch — Restore movement through the front of your hips. 6️⃣ Spinal rotations — Gently mobilize your back after a long shift. 7️⃣ Deep breathing — Help your body transition out of work mode and into recovery. 💚 You spend hours taking care of your responsibilities. Take a few minutes to take care of your body. SAVE THIS for after your next shift and SHARE it with someone who works on their feet all day!
