Fort Worth just approved nearly $42 million in tax incentives to help land an AI manufacturing project, and the company plans to invest almost $876 million in return. Celestica is planning two advanced electronics manufacturing facilities inside AllianceTexas and must invest at least $400 million in buildings and another $476 million in equipment to qualify for the incentives. What’s especially interesting is that the company plans to spend more on equipment than the buildings themselves, a strong sign this will be a highly specialized operation focused on AI servers, networking hardware, and data center infrastructure. The project is expected to create approximately 1,700 jobs and further strengthen AllianceTexas as one of the most important economic engines in North Texas. Whether you support tax incentives or not, one thing is becoming clear: Fort Worth is rapidly emerging as a major player in the AI economy. Between this project, the proposed Edged AI data center near Veale Ranch, and Black Mountain’s 2,000-acre land assembly near Weatherford, AI infrastructure is becoming one of the biggest growth stories in North Texas. Would you support a $42 million incentive package if it helped bring $876 million in investment and nearly 1,700 jobs to Fort Worth? #FortWorthTX #AllianceTexas #ArtificialIntelligence #DFWGrowth #DevelopingDFW
