Littleton’s Mineral Place redevelopment just landed another major anchor. Construction is moving forward on the Mineral Place redevelopment at Mineral Avenue and Southpark Terrace in Littleton. The former Lumen Technologies campus is being transformed into a 63-acre mixed-use development, with major infrastructure work complete, apartments under construction and a new 159,000-square-foot Costco actively being built. Now, another major piece of the development has been confirmed. Scheels plans to build a massive 300,000-plus-square-foot store alongside Costco. The new location will feature a 60-foot Ferris wheel, bowling lanes, an interactive arcade and a 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium, with an opening planned for 2029. Mineral Place will also include several additional retail locations along the northern portion of the property, along with new roads, utilities, pedestrian connections and other infrastructure improvements throughout the former campus.
