All everyone talks about is the big checks, nice trucks/cars, big houses, etc.. but nobody wants to talk about the sacrifices we make for our future. We are gone all day evreyday sun up-sundown some of us 10 hour days ,12 hour days even 16s. All we ever are is tired when we get home we have very short nights And for the ones who travel gone 6 months to a year at a time even longer sometimes. You will miss out on alot of your familys life your own life and your kids life just to do it all for them. Our schedules are never the same and unpredictable. A 10 hr day can turn into an overnight real quick... youll have a hard time keeping a steady relationship. Divorce rates are at all time highs in the trades. Husbands cheating on wives and wives cheating on husbands. And the list goes on suicide, depression. You will loose friends and youll make the best of friends . But shotout to the ones who stick by your side! Through all the bullshit! Alot of people will never understand all we go through but we just gotta keep on pushing cause we do it all for them.. i just feel like this isnt talked about enough!
